Aceite DOP Siurana

The oil inscribed within the Siurana Protected Denomination of Origin since 1977 comes from `arbequina´ variety. It is an oil with an intense aroma and a low acidity thanks to a meticulous cultivation, a process of natural selection and processing and a cold olive pressing of the that does not produce any type of alteration. There are two types of oils within the PDO: fruity, if it comes from an early harvest, greenish, with body and a slightly bitter taste; and the sweet, coming from a late collection, yellow and less dense.
