Miravet dedicates the second Sunday of June to one of its main crops: the cherries. This village of the Ribera d'Ebre region concentrates 40% of the total Catalonian production of this fruit. Throughout the day there are exhibitions on new varieties, talks about this fruit, a popular `paella´ by the river, contests and tastings of liquor made with cherries.
