The tower of Camarles takes advantage of the remains of an old Islamic fortification. It is of circular plan with thick stone walls. It has been recently restored and adapted for the visit of the tourists. A viewpoint has been constructed from where you get an exceptional view of the Ebro Delta.
In the same municipality we can also find the Granadella Tower. In this case, it is a medieval building with quadrangular plan with wedged windows and a more modern chapel dedicated to Saint Mark. The two towers were part of the group of fortifications that crossed the old maritime coast.
