It is a sweet wine with honey aftertaste, elaborated with grape of the `macabeo´ variety turned into sunny and over-matured raisin. It is fermented in oak barrels, without addition of alcohol, until a minimum alcoholic strength of 15% vol. and maximum of 18% vol. is obtained, and it takes on a brown colour with golden reflections. The `vimblanc´ is highly appreciated, especially the oldest, since with time it acquires more sweetness.
