Rosa de Oro is the legacy of two families that more than a hundred years ago opted for quality and not quantity. Taking care of the olive grove, its harvesting and grinding in the most natural and clean way possible. Knowing the value of producing a low-grade oil, rich in flavor and qualities, an oil worthy of being not only in haute cuisine but on the table as a condiment. Rescued the original brand, Rosa de Oro is reborn and the spirit to produce an exceptional arbequina oil.
For this, a variety of arbequina introduced centuries ago from Palestine is chosen and the canons are set for its cultivation, harvesting, pressing and filtering. Rosa de Oro is an Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Arbequina olives harvested at the optimum time of ripening, picked on the fly and cold-ground at less than 27 on the same day of harvest. Cultivated in front of the sea, in Masia Pons and pampered by the climate and expert hands, these ancient fruits grow and ripen year after year.
Until today, the production of Rosa de Oro was exclusively family processing a limited amount of oil for consumption. It is now a pride to share with you this exclusive gem of our healthy Mediterranean cuisine. Ideal to take cold as a condiment for salads, sauces, vegetables and fish or just on freshly baked or toasted bread.
