Cabra Blanca de Rasquera is the only native Catalan breed after the disappearance of the Catalan goat.
The White Goat of Rasquera currently grazes in the interior areas of the Ebro region. It is usually bred extensively and therefore feeds on forest resources.
It is particularly appreciated for the quality of the meat of its goats and crests, a tender, compact and intense-tasting meat.
These kids are fed solely on mother’s milk. Although they are produced all year round, their production is quite seasonal, linked to the Christmas dates, when their consumption increases.
