GR7, etapa 22: Pont del Llaguter (Benifallet) - Paüls

From the Llaguter Bridge, Stage 22 of the GR 7 trail continues, crossing the river to meet the GR 99 path on the opposite bank. The C-12 runs parallel for several kilometres, passing orange tree groves, before reaching another bridge.

The path passes underneath and climbs up to a trail, the Green Way which is an old, reconditioned railway line. The GR 7 continues along the trail for a few metres until, by a shortcut on the right, it separates from the GR 99 to meet a tarmac path and start its ascent up to a higher part.

Then, on its descent, the path passes the Venta Roja, before continuing towards the N-230 road ascending to Mas Parelladas.

After following a narrow trail for a while, our route meets the TV-3541 road that links Xerta to the village of Paüls and continues along a tarmac path towards Paüls. It is there that we end Stage 22 of the GR 7 at the connection with the long GR 171 route.
