Itinerari La pedra i l'aigua

We go along the old bridle path that joined Alfara with El Toscar and where there are still a few paved stretches. We go past the Font dels Xorros, three chapels, the ruins of the Castell de Carles, and the abandoned Pallarès and glass factories. The abundance of water in the area has throughout history made this valley the site of numerous production facilities. The trail goes along the Barranc de Conca, between evergreen oak forests, thickets and hoary-willow scrubs.
