Itinerari La Roca Llisa
This route leads us to very diverse landscapes and environments. It begins by following the left bank of the Els Estrets river, among riparian vegetation and the valley bottom. It later crosses the river and goes up to the Mas de Lliberós farmhouse.
In 1915, the Catalan botanist Pius Font i Quer stayed here for a while, though today it is in ruins. The journey continues along the Coll de la Valera, before arriving at the foot of the Roca Llisa via a forest path. This last stretch coincides with the old path that was used to go from the village of Horta de Sant Joan to the inland settlements. If you pay attention, you can still see some of the original stone-pathing.
