Ruta fluvial l'Assut

The journey is a linear route that goes down the Ebro river from Benifallet to Xerta. Along the route we find various points of interest, such as a watchtower, a quay where we can take a break and visit the Iberian village, the mouth of the Canaletes river, an old cemetery and finally, the Xerta irrigation dam.

To visit it we take the canal on the right hand side up to the floodgates which are later closed to control the water flow in order to be able to continue.
